"The "cut the cable" hype leads us to believe that it's as simple as connecting your antenna's co-axial cable to a DVR, and that in turn to your TV or A/V receiver--and it is -- but what if you need advice in selecting the right antenna for your location, and of course someone to install it, if like me you're past the age where it's ok to be on a ladder.
After searching the usual home services sources on the web, without finding anyone that seemed interested in installing antennas , I finally turned to a nearby outfit that specializes in home theater installations, Wave Connects, though I assumed my job would be "too small" for them to respond. Paul not only answered my inquiry within a few hours, his installer was at my house early the next working day. The installation involved not only switching the antenna cable from a roof-top satellite dish, but also tracing multiple existing connections to locate one I could re-use for over-the-air reception. The work was done quickly and at an acceptable cost. The moral of this story? The key to successful cable-cutting is not only selecting the right antenna for your situation, but perhaps finding an installer that can handle cabling issues that may arise. I was more than pleased with Paul's helpful advice, responsiveness, and completely satisfactory work, though this was only a two-hour job.”

When we first ordered our speakers and receiver from Crutchfield, Paul asked me to send him the quote. “JUNE 2013: Installed 3 new amazingly user friendly TV remotes. Well worth it! Started having audio drop out trouble on 2 TV's. Wave Connects came twice to troubleshoot at least one hour each time with no charge to us. Ended up having to deal with Cable Company for audio dropout issue. Very pleased at their diligence in resolving the issue on their time and money.

SEPT 2013:
Returning to reprogram 2 remotes because Cable Company figured out audio drop out problem and replaced our cable boxes. So remotes need to be programmed to new cable boxes. Called and got same day appointment!
